Situation :

The only one of its kind in Switzerland, this challenge is both sporty and festive. Fancy-dressed participants are welcome and there is a prize for best fancy dress. Winemakers from Les Côtes de l’Orbe, await you at the beverage stops and at the finish, so that you can discover the great wines of the region. As with the “Marathon du Médoc”, local products and specialties are honoured at the many stalls, located in the village at the finish. Tasting and catering, in a musical and joyful atmosphere.

The course :

Magnificent itinerary running through vineyards and small winery towns; Start and finish in Arnex-sur-Orbe via Agiez, Montcherand, Valeyres-sous-Rances, Rances, Orbe.

"La Désirée" : Start and finish in Arnex-sur-Orbe.


1/2 Marathon: Departure time at 2 pm from 16 years of age registration cost CHF 35.-
"La Désirée" (11.4 km): Departure time at 3:30 pm   registration cost CHF 30.-
1/2 Walking, Nordic walking: departure time between 9:30 – 12:30 am   Einscheibungsgebühr: adult’s registration cost CHF 35.-, Children CHF 15.-
"La Désirée" (11.4 km): Walking, Nordic walking: departure time between 9:30 – 12:30 am   adult’s registration cost CHF 30.-, Children CHF 10.-

For all categories, souvenir prizes upon completion of race. Participants arriving later than 5:30 pm will not be placed.

Locker rooms and showers:

Finish and start in the grande salle (town gym) of Arnex-sur-Orbe.

At the gate: On the day of the race, registration will be accepted at the town gym in Arnex-sur-Orbe. Supplement of CHF 10.- for all categories.

Public transport:

Train line Lausanne to Vallorbe; 30 minutes from Lausanne - stop Arnex-Sur-Orbe - one train per hour.


Participants are responsable for their own insurance. The organisers decline all responsability in case of theft, damage or accident. Participants must obey all Swiss road rules.
